Welcome to Sark

The Isle of Sark is a unique oasis of charm and calm in the Channel Islands.

Sark has been an independent legislature for over 450 years since Queen Elizabeth granted the fief to Helier de Carteret in 1565. Its status remains unique to this day: not in the UK but a possession of the Crown (did you know King Charles III is Duke of Normandy?).

So far, thankfully, Sark has navigated the current Covid-19 Pandemic well from complete lockdown to being open to travellers once more,

You can see the latest advice to travellers here. Currently, the UK is in the CTA (Common Travel Area) with Sark so no quarantine needed.

If you've never visited Sark before, you should come. Many new visitors from Guernsey and the UK re-dicovered this beautiful island during the pandemic due to holiday restrictions elsewhere.

We'll be glad to extend the renowned Sark Welcome to old and new friends.

Enjoy your trip!
